Scholarship request forms are here Got spare time? Want to strike out on your own? Look into Joining the Omaha Metro High School Bowling Coaches Association Monday afternoon bowling league to fill in those empty time frames. The Omaha Metro High School Bowling Coaches Association League has been delivering on its' approach to provide United States Bowling Congress (USBC) youth sanctioned bowling to all Omaha area high schools since 1999. We currently have 13 high schools, 53 teams, and about 300 bowler-athletes participating. The league fills lanes at 3 local bowling centers every Monday from November through February and ends the season with the Metro Play-offs. The competition is both at the varsity and junior varsity levels to allow everyone to bowl at their own level of ability. In addition to the Monday league play, most programs practice at least once a week at their home bowling center. Many of the programs also choose to travel all over the state of Nebraska to bowl in weekend USBC youth sanctioned tournaments sponsored by the Nebraska High School Bowling Coaches Association which has been conducting high school tournaments for the last 14 years. All of the bowling is done at the club level through the high schools so all athletes can participate and so it can be done at no cost to the school. The organizations and programs are made up of very dedicated volunteers from all over the State and Metro area. We would like to see a lot more schools and students get involved.
