METRO HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING COACHES ASSOCIATION BY-LAWS
Article I ? Government The Metro High School Bowling Coaches Association shall be governed by the rules and regulations with provision it may enact and enforce rules and regulations, which are not in conflict with the purposes, rules, and regulations of the USBC.
Article II ? Purpose The Metro High School Bowling Coaches Association is formed to promote Varsity and Junior Varsity boys and girl?s high school bowling as a Club organized activity at each participating school.
Article III ? Officers Section 1, The officers of this Association shall consist of a President, a Vice President, a Treasurer, a Recording Secretary, and a League Administrative Secretary who shall be paid a 10 week fee to be determined by the Board of Directors prior to the beginning of each League season.
Section 2. The Board of Directors at the annual meeting of the Metro High School Bowling Coaches Association shall elect all officers.
Section 3. The term of office shall be two (2) years for all elected officers. In even years the Vice President and Recording Secretary shall be elected and in the odd years the President and Treasurer shall be elected.
Article IV ? Board of Directors Each Nebraska Omaha Metro area high school that is active in the Metro High School Bowling Coaches Association is entitled to one (1) vote. Those voting members and the officers make up the Board of Directors.
Article V ? Meetings Section 1. There shall be two (2) scheduled meetings of the Metro High School Bowling Coaches Association. The annual meeting shall take place in April. In addition the Board shall meet in September.
Section 2. Other meetings will be scheduled as the President or Board feels necessary.
Section 3. Quorum: Twenty-five percent (25%) of the Board of Directors as well as at least two (2) officers shall constitute a quorum for all meetings.
Section 4. Any officers missing two (2) consecutive meetings without proper notification to the President of the Metro High School Bowling Coaches Association shall be asked to resign his or her duties.
Article VI ? Finances Section 1. The treasurer shall maintain two (2) separate bank accounts. One account will be for the general use and the other is strictly for the holding of scholarship monies until the recipients request them.
Section 2. Yearly team fees will be based on projected expenses of the League.
Section 3. There will be a yearly audit at the annual meeting with the report given at the September meeting.
